Okay, with some new additions I got to start building a bit more again.  Though I have the lets now, I will not build them and stick them together until I get the frame and the motors figured out.  Until then, here's some pics of the updates so far on R2-T5!

Been a while since I posted.  Got the dome pretty much finished.  Lights are working, as you can see in the pictures.  Got the leg kits in the mail today, also.  Will put those together as soon as I can.

More Progress...

Working more on the dome.  Radar Eye is up and ready, used a round plastic soda bottle to make the lens sprayed black on the inside.  Holes drilled and ready for mounting, sparatic black spraypaint used to give a weathered effect to the droid.

Got a couple of the holes drilled out for the display system.  Coming together nicely, but still have a long way to go.

Just got some new parts in.  I'll be working on getting them fitted and painted soon.  I'm finding that the actual work of building a droid is fun, its just that it takes a long time for the parts to be available.  Not too much on getting the parts built myself, so I have to wait for them.

Got some more painting done.  Just need to get the Radar Eye, Logic Surrounds, Holoprojectors and the Logic Displays and the dome should be good to go.

Okay!  First progress pics are up!  Primer paint on, pie panels finished painting.  Now I just need to pick up the rest of the dome pieces and make some cuts in the inner dome and we'll be on our way!
